The Candolim Beach is an enchanting beach that stretches from Aguada Fort to Chapora Beach. There are plenty of places to visit near and around the seashore.
Candolim Vs Calangute Beach
Candolim is more chilled, with mainly European tourists,
while Calangute is busy working town, and gets a lot more Domestic tourists,
especially at the weekends. So it’s great if you like hustle and bustle, and
people watching. If you are beach people, the Candolim beaches are better,
cleaner, and less crowded.
Best time to visit Candolim Beach
Candolim beach can be visited anytime of the year. However,
the best time to visit Candolim beach is during the months of November to
April. The apt timings to visit Candolim Beach is during sunrise to sunset
which is between 6 am to 6 pm, otherwise the beach is open for visitors all the
time.
Candolim Beach is safe at night
The night time, just like the day time is generally safe in
Candolim, though it is advisable if your heading down long dark lanes to have a
vehicle or not to be alone.
Candolim is better than Baga
Baga Beach is bigger and busier than Candolim with a lot
more beach shacks to choose from. Candolim is quieter with bars and restaurants
as well, my advise would be to have a look at Calangute, it’s set betwean Baga
and Candolim, it has a good variety of bars/restaurants etc and your not far
from anywhere.
Candolim beach is clean
Candolim is one of the cleanest beach of GOA not much
populated. Enjoyed water sports and beach shacks.
Candolim is in north Goa or not inSouth Goa
Candolim is a census town in North Goa and is located in the
Bardez taluka in the state of Goa, India. It is situated just south of
Calangute Beach and North of Sinquerim.
